How to Stop a Bulldog from Barking
Sometimes stopping your bulldog from barking is as easy as fulfilling its needs. If it needs food or water, for instance, it may just require some attention from you. On the other hand, your bulldog may bark constantly out of frustration over a certain thing or a specific person. This is the sort of behavior that you may want to change.

In the latter part of the 18th century, Holland was split between the partisans of the Prince of Orange and the patriots, and the patriots were led by Kees de Gyselaer, who owned a dog named Kees. Kees gave the Keeshond breed its name and became the symbol of the Patriots.
One of the best ways to stop your bulldog from barking is actually to teach him to bark. By first teaching your bulldog to bark on command, then teaching him to stop barking on command, you can greatly reduce his barking. The best way to accomplish this is through the use of a food reward system. Once you've used food to train the bulldog to bark on command though, the next step is a bit harder. It's important to begin rewarding your bulldog when he is quiet, but it's not as easy to notice a quiet bulldog as it is to notice a barking bulldog. You should be patient and pay close attention to your bulldog's behavior for several weeks in order to reward him at the right times.

If your bulldog is barking because of a specific person, such as the mail person, involve the person in the training. If the person the bulldog has an issue with gives your bulldog a treat every time they come to your house it will turn into a positive experience.

Yorkshire terriers are very tenacious. In fact, A 12-pound Yorkshire Terrier named Oliver once defended an elderly woman from an 80-pound Akita. The woman escaped to safety and Oliver the yorkie survived with only nine stitches.
There are also many varieties of anti-bark collar available for bulldogs. Some work by giving the bulldog a mild electric shock when he barks. The problem with that type of collar is that it can be hard to tell if they are working properly, unless you want to try it on yourself. Another type of anti-bark collar uses a scent, such as citronella, that the bulldog dislikes. This method can be quite effective without actually hurting the bulldog.

Originating in Germany, the name Affenpinscher means, "monkey-like terrier". However, in France the breed is described as the "Diablotin Moustachu" or "moustached little devil". Both describe the appearance and attitude of this delightful breed.
As a last resort, there is a debarking surgery that can be performed on your bulldog. However, it is not usually permanent and many people consider it to be cruel, so most veterinarians don't recommend it.

The Podengo, a rare breed of dog, is also known as the Portuguese Warren Hound. It is usually a fawn or yellow color, but can be brown, black or sooty colored without white patches or spots. It resembled a long-bodied chihuahua.
By taking a little extra time to understand your bulldog and recognize what it is that's bothering him, you can help him to bark less often and you will both be happier.

However, they are really completely unique and unrelated breeds. They have just developed in such a way, over time, that they look similar to each other.
