Bulldog Halloween Costume Do's and Dont's
Halloween is an enchanting day where even bulldogs can join in the fun. Despite the festivities of the day, keeping a canine safe is mission critical. Use the following safety precautions to assure the safety of your bulldog:

The diminutive tibetan spaniel, with his feather-like tail, may look a bit like other spaniels, but the breed is actually not a spaniel at all, but more closely related to some combination of the shih tzu, pug, pekingese and Japanese chin.
If your bulldog must wear a costume, use the following tips in its Halloween attire:

Lhasa Apsos are small, long-haired dogs. Believe it or not, they were originally used by monks to guard temples. This accounts for their quiet and friendly nature, which can easily change if their owners or home are threatened.
Opt for safe and annoying free costumes that allow for easy movement
A costume should not inhibit your bulldog's ability to breathe and bark
The costume should not obstructs his or her vision
Dogs should never be left without supervision in a costume

Barbara Bush wrote "Millie's Book", a book about her English Springer Spaniel, Millie. The book was an instant success. It was on the bestseller list for 29 weeks. Millie was the most popular "First Dog" in United States history.
Always monitor your bulldog for bitten pieces of the costume that may trigger choking (in example: buttons, elastic, paper rubber bands, or other materials)
Affix reflective tape onto bulldog's costume if you will be out after dark
Never leave your bulldog unsupervised in a costume.

The afghan hound ranks as least intelligent breed of dog. They are cute, friendly, loyal and fun, but they usually require 80 to 100 repetitions to learn a single command. Afghan hounds are a bad choice if you are looking for a dog that's easy to train, but they are great if you have patience.
As cute as the idea of taking your bulldog to trick or treat with the family may be, the event can trigger anxiety or fear.
To avoid any potential negative encounters, keep a leash on him and be mindful of anything they try to eat during the Halloween stroll.
To minimize any anxiety or fear in your bulldog, keep pets away of boisterous children and walk them before the Halloween festivities get underway

German Shepherds have incredibly sensitive noses. They have over 225 million cell receptors in their noses, making them ideal for police work, such as bomb and drug sniffing, finding missing children and tracking criminals.
The most socially oriented bulldogs may not be ready for the entourage of children during trick-or-treating hours. To prevent any unforeseen situations, keep your bulldog in a separate room. For starters, the rampant traffic of strangers may overwhelm a bulldog. Not to mention, some children are afraid of DOGS and other pets.
Finally, if your bulldog breaks free, make sure he or she is wearing a collar with an ID tag or other proper identification.

The springer spaniel breed is well-known for having very high energy levels. In fact, the "spring" in "springer spaniel" referred to this dog's ability to spring out at, or startle game. They are excellent hunting dogs.
